Selection Criteria to be addressed:
- Current Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia through AHPRA with relevant tertiary level qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
- Extensive clinical experience and knowledge with demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement when required in solving problems, and managing cases where principles, procedures, techniques and methods require expansion, modification or adaptation.
- Significant experience in staff and student supervision with demonstrated ability to support staff/students of all levels of experience and knowledge within a competency framework.
- Demonstrated effective verbal communication skills including in negotiation and critical conversations and high level skills in written documentation including clinical procedures and project reports.
- Commitment to continuing professional development for self and others, and demonstrated skills in teaching and training.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in leading quality improvement and/or implementing change within teams and services.
- Experience in service planning and evaluation, including experience in NSQHS Standards evaluation, and audits.
- Current NSW State driver's licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving distances across the LHD.
