- Extensive experience using statistical analysis software, including proficiency SAS, QlikView or similar programming applications.
- Superior knowledge and demonstrated experience in analysis of linked datasets.
- Advanced skills in extracting, processing, analysing and reporting on administrative health data.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal consultation, negotiation and analytical/problem solving skills in order to effectively manage interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organisational and time management skills and experience in handling confidential matters
- Extensive knowledge of health related data collections and systems the strengths and weaknesses of these databases and a good understanding of the NSW and Australian Health Systems.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent relevant working experience in statistics, health information management, health administration and /or public health.
