Communications Manager

1. Extensive experience and a record of achievement in leading a communications function in a health or marketing and communications team, including relevant qualifications or equivalent experience. This includes demonstrated experience in developing and implementing communication strategies and successfully delivering communication activities.

2. Excellent analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from multiple sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, manage challenges creatively and achieve business focussed solutions.

3. Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging with stakeholders and executive management to achieve optimal business outcomes.

4. Demonstrated high level editorial skills and experience in preparing high quality written material, social media and website content.

5. Demonstrated experience leading and developing capability of a team, and coaching and advising, whilst always fostering a performance based and customer focused work culture.

6. Proven capacity to lead and implement strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and project manage.

7. Highly developed skills in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel and familiarity with Adobe applications including Creative Suite (Photoshop, lnDesign and Illustrator), Premier Elements and SLR camera for photography and videography purposes.

8. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to critically assess situations and achieve results with a proven capacity to prioritise and multi-task in a highly demanding environment.
