Essential Criteria:
 
Qualification: Post Graduate Nursing Qualification and minimum 3 years of Post-graduation clinical experience working in a Community Mental Health Setting.
Registration: Current unrestricted Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Selection Criteria:

  1. Knowledge, understanding and experience in Clozapine monitoring programme.
  2. Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in mental health nursing practice.
  3. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills across a variety of mediums and knowledge of the practice development framework to clinical practice.
  4. Demonstrated skill in the analysis of complex issues, problem solving, formulating new approaches and implementing comprehensive change programs and improvement strategies, including the ability to develop and monitor outcomes.
  5. Ability to apply clinical expertise in patient-centred consultancy with the ability to work independently.
  6. Experience in collaborating with GPs, NGOs and private Psychiatrists to provide recovery oriented mental health care in the community.
  7. Current NSW Drivers Licence (P2 acceptable)
