  1. Detailed knowledge, experience and understanding of clinical trials and clinical research. Including knowledge of local and international regulatory requirements for clinical trials and clinical research.

  2. Successful track record in managing or coordinating multicentre, national and international clinical research in collaboration with other health disciplines. Includes experience in budget development, site start up and all aspects of trial management.

  3. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and delegation skills and leadership attributes.

  4. Demonstrated ability to develop and report individual and group performance to produce highly functioning teams.

  5. Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret research data and direct research relevant to health outcomes.

  6. Demonstrated problem solving and strategic planning skills with the ability to design and implement appropriate departmental processes and systems to improve and maintain quality.

Applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate.

ASARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) 3 doses are required for Category A positions (refer to NSW Policy Directive PD2022_030 Occupational Assessment Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases).

ASARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) 3 doses are highly recommended for all other health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
