Selection Criteria:
- Relevant health related qualification and/or experience in the field of medical oncology clinical research and clinical trials.
- Experience in Medical Oncology Clinical Trials working in or dealing with sponsors and industry.
- Demonstrated high level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, such as negotiation and report writing applicable in both a research and administrative context.
- Demonstrated understanding of the legislation, codes and guidelines relevant to clinical and research ethics, and in particular the NHMRC National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research, relevant privacy acts and guidelines, the Human Tissue Act, and the Therapeutic Goods Act as it relates to use of medications in human research.
- Demonstrated understanding of contractual arrangements for clinical trials.
- Experience managing people or projects demonstrating organisational skills, the ability to successfully prioritise and manage competing issues and meet deadlines.
