  2. Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent and/or demonstrated experience undertaking administrative support roles and responsibilities.
  3. Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills, including accurate spelling, good comprehension, telephone skills, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal courteously with a range of health professionals.
  4. Ability to demonstrate advanced knowledge of practical skills with MS office products, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Practical skills with eMR and accurate word processing and minute taking skills. An understanding and knowledge of the intranet.
  5. Demonstrated advanced organisational skills. Demonstrated time management skills, with the ability to organise and to prioritise work effectively to meet time frames.
  6. Demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet deadlines with a “sense of urgency” under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
  7. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  8. Proven effective interpersonal and communication skills including telephone communication.
