- Bachelor's degree in a health related field or equivalent relevant experience, with demonstrated experience in planning, coordination and conduct of clinical trials.
- Demonstrated understanding of the International Conference on Harmonisation-Good Clinical Practice, National Health and Medical Research Council National Statement 2007 on the conduct of clinical research, privacy laws, regulatory and ethical issues in clinical research.
- Experience in project management and working at a management level including supervision of staff.
- Highly effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated time management and project management skills to deliver a range of tasks and projects to tight deadlines.
- Skills in preparing and delivering presentations and reports
- Proficient in the use of information technology utilised within a research framework, with a flexible approach to work, including problem solving skills & management of change
