Selection Criteria
- Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA and a recognised Post Graduate (Master's) qualification and endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and to prioritise workload.
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based psychology practice for the range of psychological disorders and problematic issues commonly occurring in adolescents and young adults with cancer.
- Demonstrated skills in the individual and group clinical psychology treatment of adolescents and young adults with physical health problems.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with the multidisciplinary team and patients and their families.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake psychological assessment and intervention across a variety of modalities as needed, including face-to-face and telephone. Experience in delivering psychology services using online video-conferencing (telehealth) is also desirable.
