Selection Criteria

  1. Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA and a recognised Post Graduate (Master's) qualification and endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work independently and to prioritise workload.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based psychology practice for the range of psychological disorders and problematic issues commonly occurring in adolescents and young adults with cancer.
  4. Demonstrated skills in the individual and group clinical psychology treatment of adolescents and young adults with physical health problems.
  5. Demonstrated ability to liaise with the multidisciplinary team and patients and their families.
  6. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication.
  7. Demonstrated ability to undertake psychological assessment and intervention across a variety of modalities as needed, including face-to-face and telephone. Experience in delivering psychology services using online video-conferencing (telehealth) is also desirable.
