To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Full Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (through AHPRA) with full endorsement in the area of Clinical Psychology or eligibility to progress to ‘Clinical Psychology Endorsement’ with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of recovery orientated and evidence based mental health assessment and treatment
- Knowledge in a wide range of psychological assessment procedures and specific training in evidence based psychological treatments delivered in individual and/or group basis
- Ability and willingness to contribute to mental health service development, implementation and evaluation.
- Effective interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and personal resilience as well as a demonstrated capacity to engage with and enhance the multidisciplinary team process.
- Knowledge of psychological assessments and treatments for problem gambling
- Ability to provide community psychoeducation to vulnerable communities or people working with vulnerable communities
