To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

1. Master degree in Clinical Psychology or higher, registration with the Psychology Board of Australia as well as eligibility for full membership of the Australian Psychological Society.
2. Sensitivity to the needs and demonstrated knowledge of psycho-social issues for patients with cancer and their carers.
3. Ability to use a wide variety of psychological interventions to provide evidence based, patient-centered care which includes specific training in cognitive behavioral treatment, as well as provision of various additional treatment modalities, including amongst other, brief psychotherapy, sexual counselling and grief therapy.
4. Demonstrated competence in a wide range of psychological assessments and evidence based psychological treatments delivered on an individual and/or group basis.
5. Demonstrated experience working independently in the provision of patient/consumer-focused care.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of the quality improvement process for service development, implementation and evaluation.
7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improved patient and/or consumer care and outcomes.
8. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit the target audience.
