SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with a Masters degree (6th year) or higher in Clinical Psychology or some other relevant endorsed area of psychology (e.g. Forensic Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology) that is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in multimodal psychological assessment and case-formulation for adults and/or adolescents with a severe mental illness and/or offending behaviour that assist transition to community.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of cognitive behavioural therapy with adults and/or adolescents with a severe mental illness and/or offending behavior.
- Demonstrated knowledge of alcohol and other drugs assessment and interventions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & problem-solving skills; ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and to ensure that team decisions/plans are patient-centred and evidence-based.
- Excellent psychological report writing skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of the relevant scientific literature on psychological services for adults and/or adolescents with a severe mental illness and/or offending behaviour.
