To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
 

  1. Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  2. Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge in a wide range of psychological assessment procedures and specific training and experience in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and other evidence based psychological treatments delivered on an individual or group basis.
  4. Experience in working with people with diabetes and/or other chronic health conditions, and knowledge of the impact of diabetes/chronic health problems on wellbeing and mental health
  5. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and ability to act as a consultant and to provide consumer management advice.
  6. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and problem solving skills and computer literacy.
  7. Demonstrated knowledge of the quality improvement process for service development, implementation and evaluation.
