Selection criteria to be addressed:

  1. Full registration with AHPRA with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist. Postgraduate masters of doctorate degree in clinical psychology
  2. Demonstrated ability in assessment, diagnosis, case formulation and development of treatment strategies in cognitive, emotional, motivational, personality and behaviour disturbance in older adults in a range of health care settings
  3. Experience, skills and knowledge to assess, plan interventions, and develop care plans in consultation with older consumers and carers. Ability to implement and evaluate care plans
  4. Demonstrated experience providing clinical/professional supervision for psychologists/clinical psychologists
  5. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and organise individual work effectively
  6. Demonstrated experience working with consumers and carers over the age of 65 years, including an understanding of the issues for older people experiencing mental health issues
  7. Proven effective high level written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to exercise independent professional judgement when solving problems
  8. NSW Driver Licence Current (P1 or above) and willingness to use same for work purposes
