Clinical Nurse Specialist (Grade 2) - Palliative Care
Selection Criteria
- Current Nursing registration with AHPRA and 3 years full time equivalent post registration experience in Palliative Care nursing and relevant post registration qualifications.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in specialist Palliative Care clinical practices including assessment, planning, treatment management, and clinical leadership underpinned by evidenced based practice.
- Demonstrated professional knowledge, judgement and skill in providing professional education and support in Palliative Care nursing.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise, negotiate and act as a resource person for advanced practice to health service providers on Palliative Care related health issues.
- Ability to work autonomously and contribute to a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of Palliative care services for patients and their families.
- Demonstrated professional communication skills including written and verbal.
