Selection Crtiera
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
- Holds a relevant clinical or educational post registration qualification or 3 years clinical experience in the field of Safety and or Risk management or experience in a Clinical Education role.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates an understanding and awareness of risk in the workplace and the impact this has on the safety and wellbeing of staff and patients
- Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment (adult learning principles)
- Demonstrated clinical teaching & facilitation skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of competency attainment and assessment
- Computer literacy and understanding of hospital information systems
