- Current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), experience in Perioperative Nursing; and relevant Perioperative and/or Education Graduate Certificate.
- Demonstrated extensive clinical experience in the perioperative setting with knowledge of the ACORN standards and AS/NZ 4187 standards recent demonstrated teaching/CNE experience. .
- Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment and adult learning principles including the design, delivery and evaluation of education programs
- Demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills including knowledge of competency assessment, decision making frameworks
- Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating and influence others
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence and evidence-based care in nursing practice, own professional development and the ability to motivate others
- Knowledge and understanding of person-centred care, evidence-based practice and quality improvement
- Demonstrated understanding of and ability to practice in accordance with legislation, policies and within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
