Essential Criteria:

Qualification:  Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy
Registration:  Current occupational therapy registration with AHPRA

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated extensive post-graduate experience in community based occupational therapy and advanced skills including client-centred assessment, care planning, coordination and intervention with chronic and complex care needs.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team including providing and coordinating clinical supervision of students and staff and demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision.
  3. Demonstrated effective time management and ability to plan and prioritise the achievement of quality clinical outcomes.
  4. Demonstrated highly effective written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences
  5. Demonstrated high level computer and technology skills including the ability to understand and effectively and efficiently use available and emerging technologies (including electronic medical records, word processing and databases).
  6. Demonstrated extensive experience in engaging, supporting and advocating continuous quality improvement, evidence based practice and professional development.
  7. Current driver’s licence valid within Australia and willingness to use for work purposes across WSLHD.
