- Eligibility for membership of the AASW.
- Significant employment experience in social work practice with children and their families, preferably in a health setting.
- Extensive specialist counselling and casework experience in working therapeutically with children and families who are bereaved - both at the time of death and post bereavement.
- Experience in developing and facilitating group work programs.
- Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in service planning, the development of new models of care and leading and evaluating quality improvement projects.
- Ability to build partnerships with key stakeholders to optimise outcomes for children and their families.
- Capacity to share after hours and weekend on calls duties and unrestricted Driver’s licence.
