Associate Director- NSW Education Centre Against Violence

Selection Criteria:

1. Relevant tertiary qualification at degree level or above in Social Work, Psychology or other relevant tertiary qualification and holds or is willing to acquire a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or relevant experience
2. Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills including experience and competency in establishing partnerships and managing a diverse range of external stakeholders, high level written and oral communication skills including capacity to prepare high level documents such as briefs, reports, submissions within short timeframes.
3. Expertise in child protection, sexual assault, domestic/family violence and cultural diversity practice service delivery with in depth understanding of the policy interface in relation to health and industry responses to these issues
4. Demonstrated experience in managing the planning, development, implementation, administration and evaluation of state-wide or area wide training programs and understanding of the interface between policy, practice and training.
5. Capability to manage and develop staff including mentoring, professional development and constructive feedback. This includes addressing individual performance issues or unsatisfactory performance in a timely and effective way.
6. Capacity to develop and implement quality improvement systems including knowledge and skill in competency based and course accreditation processes.
7. Demonstrated capacity in project management and change-management including developing a culturally competent workplace.
8. Current Drivers' licence valid in NSW and willingness to utilise for work purposes. Willing to travel throughout NSW.
