- CHC30208 Certificate III in Aged Care or CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support/or equivalent, or equivalent experience OR completion of one (1 ) or more years of training as an undergraduate nursing student .
- Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/ seven-day rotating roster which includes working all shifts, all days of the week including public holidays
- Good knowledge of basic nursing care including physiologic observations and assistance with activities of daily living
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team
- High degree of reliability and punctuality
- Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control standard precautions
- Computer skills including the ability to use a variety of office and health related software applications
