Essential Criteria

Qualification:  Relevant allied health tertiary qualifications and/or professionals registration with AHPRA as required by the Health Professionals State Award

Registration in line with Award requirements: As required by the Health Professionals State Award

Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications as an allied health professional including relevant professional registration (where required by AHPRA) in addition to post graduate qualifications in health management, project management or related field and/or demonstrated equivalent related experience.
  2. Previous extensive clinical experience as an allied health professional and extensive working knowledge and relevant experience working with allied health services and clinical teams.
  3. Demonstrated understanding of the complexities and current workforce challenges facing the diversity of the 23 allied health professions and their impact of the operations of NSW Health allied health clinical services.
  4. Demonstrated skill and extensive experience in project management, program management and change management and in planning and leading project teams undertaking planning and/or redesign initiatives
  5. Extensive experience in making complex judgements in working with and leading multi-disciplinary teams, meeting deadlines and prioritising multiple demands with a focus on negotiation and organisational attributes with highly developed critical thinking and decision making skills
  6. Ability to research, undertake and prepare written reports and review of new and existing business processes including the ability to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPI).
  7. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including ability to prepare high level report and papers for publication as well as sound negotiation and interpersonal skills
  8. Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products - ability to trend and interpret complex information and data rapidly and accurately.
