Selection Criteria to be Addressed:
- Level 1: Newly qualified (Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Counsellor, Psychologist) with less than 3 years clinical experience. Eligibility for registration as required. Or Level 2: Minimum 3 years clinical experience as a (Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Counsellor) and ability to work with minimal supervision. Eligibility for registration as required.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in the provision of evidence based interventions for alcohol and other drug using clients
- An ability to liase with a range of relevant agencies and departments of the Local Health District and Criminal Justice System.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of the multidisciplinary team in providing drug and alcohol services to court mandated clients.
- Proven high quality computer literacy, written and verbal communication including the preparation of court reports and clinical notes.
- Current drivers licence
