Selection Criteria
 

  1. Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance with relevant skill sets, OR relevant qualification and/or experience AND formal commitment to complete this training. Training will be supported by the district and must be completed within 2 years from enrolment.
  2. Demonstrated ability to function as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team.
  3. Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by the supervising Allied Health Professional.
  4. Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
  5. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
  6. Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.
     

Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases

This is a Category ‘A’ position, please read and understand NSW Health policy directive PD2022_030
 All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs.


All NSW Health Category A workers are required to have received at least three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful. Category B positions must have at least two doses and must also provide COVID-19 vaccination evidence if successful.
