- Registered Nurse with a current License to practice from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Extensive recent clinical experience, experience in a leadership role in Operating Theatres and knowledge of current nursing and midwifery issues.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team including experience in coordinating operating theatre activity, stock management and equipment management. Demonstrated ability for conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in Surginet and Microsoft Applications.
- Knowledge and understanding of Ministry of Health (MOH) KPIs relating to elective and emergency surgery and the implications for the department.
- Demonstrated commitment in initiating, developing and implementing quality and work improvement activities that enhance the delivery of perioperative services.
