Selection Criteria:
- Display excellent communication skills, written and verbal, when dealing with patients and clients
- Demonstrated experience in administration and reception duties, including a busy phone system to provide a high level of customer service to patients, staff and other agencies across all areas such as handling enquiries from patients, Medical Staff, Emergency Department, Wards and patients requiring services and appointments
- High attention to detail, ensuring all patient information is recorded correctly for clinical, statistical and billing purposes, whilst maintaining a continuous high standard of confidentiality
- Knowledge of medical terminology and accurate typing skills including transcription of medical reports
- Demonstrated experience using a variety of data, record keeping and computer based information systems and electronic health record systems. Previous experience in a Medical/Hospital setting is desirable
