  2. Demonstrated experience working in the specific clinical area 3 years or greater and post registration qualification directly relevant to the role of pain management.
  3. Demonstrated extensive experience utilising knowledge and advanced nursing skills in the assessment, care planning and provision of safe clinical care for patients requiring pain management.
  4. Ability to work with minimal supervision and extended autonomy of decision making.
  5. Demonstrated ability to proactively engage and communicate effectively with clinical staff, contribute nursing expertise to the improvement of care within a multidisciplinary care team.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvements in clinical service delivery and practices through the use of up to date evidence to evaluate care and implement change.
  7. Demonstrated ability in providing educational programs and in services to all health workers across the facility.
  8. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and capacity to use health related information technology systems
