Selection Criteria to be Addressed:
- Aboriginality - Being an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person is a requirement for this position. Please demonstrate your Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage. Aboriginality/Torres Strait Islander is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under section 14(d) of the Anti Discrimination Act 1977
- Possess the willingness and ability to assist in the delivery of direct care activities allocated by nursing staff
- Have a clear understanding of confidentiality in the workplace
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written skills
- Have the willingness to complete Certificate III in Health Services Assistance qualification throughout the traineeship program (Assisting in nursing in acute care)
