  1. Be a woman pursuant to Section 31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent pursuant to Section 14 (d) of the Anti-discrimination Act 1977.
  2. Hold a minimum Certificate III Aboriginal Primary Health Care.
  3. Understanding of the following factors and how they influence Aboriginal people, their cultural understanding of health issues and their health outcomes; Australian history, socio economic influences, the complexities of chronic disease and preventable lifestyle illness.
  4. Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team and effectively communicate and collaborate with others, including Aboriginal people and communities.
  5. Demonstrated capacity to plan, develop, deliver, document and evaluate health promotion and education initiatives and the ability to use computer programs, as required within this process (including capacity to learn relevant programs, including those for patient records and data reporting).
  6. Current NSW Drivers Licence with the ability to drive for work purposes.
  7. Be a woman pursuant to Section 31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).

Targeted Role
