Selection Criteria:
- This is an identified position in accordance with Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW). Applicants must be a person of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent who has a demonstrated ability to work with and earn the trust and respect of Aboriginal people, communities and organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead community engagement activities and engage Aboriginal women and families
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills as well as an ability to work independently and within a team
- Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills including proven interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office products including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience in supporting broader health teams to enhance cultural and diversity awareness.
- Ability to uphold ethical workplace practices including but not limited to confidently recognising and declaring conflicts of interest including an understanding of issues relating to privacy and confidentiality.
- Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence and a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
