Selection Criteria to be Addressed:

  1. This is an identified Aboriginal position. Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent. Exemption is claimed under Government Sector Employment Act Rule 26.
  2. Enrolled full-time, and have completed 2 years of a first undergraduate allied health degree with evidence of passing all subjects.
  3. Willingness and ability to complete 60 days of work placement for each year of the cadetship whilst passing all subjects and completing the remainder of your allied health degree enrolled full-time.
  4. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
  6. Demonstrated organisation and time management skills that enable you to balance work placement and university commitments.
