An exciting opportunity is available for a Staff Specialist – Primary Care to join our service at the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network.

We are looking for a qualified health care professional with:

  • Current registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Eligibility for OR current Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or other recognised speciality.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and clinical experience in the management of patients with complex acute and chronic primary health issues.

The Staff Specialist – Primary Care provides specialist assessment and ongoing care of patients with acute and chronic primary care health issues in correctional campuses administered by the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JHFMHN) in accordance with best evidence-based practice and organisational policies.

Our Location

John Morony Correctional Centre is a medium-security facility for male offenders. It sits on the Francis Greenway Correctional Complex (formerly the John Morony Correctional Complex) located 5km south of Windsor, in Sydney.
