  1. A tertiary qualification recognised by NSW Health in Allied Health, Djirruwang Program and/or other equivalent degree.
  2. A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience working as a clinician in a mental health setting, with demonstrated ability to complete mental health assessments, plans of care and a strong understanding of the impact mental illness has on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience working within Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities and ability to work in a manner that engenders mutual respect in a cross cultural environment.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and with an ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  5. Demonstrated effective communication skills, verbal and written with an ability to produce reports and quality documents, and ability to use computer applications such as email, data bases, Intranet & MS Word.
  6. Current unrestricted NSW Driver License and valid Working with Children Check.
