- A tertiary qualification recognised by NSW Health in Allied Health, Djirruwang Program and/or other equivalent degree.
- A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience working as a clinician in a mental health setting, with demonstrated ability to complete mental health assessments, plans of care and a strong understanding of the impact mental illness has on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience working within Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities and ability to work in a manner that engenders mutual respect in a cross cultural environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and with an ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, verbal and written with an ability to produce reports and quality documents, and ability to use computer applications such as email, data bases, Intranet & MS Word.
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver License and valid Working with Children Check.
