The Role

We’re currently looking for a passionate lawyer to work as part of a small but dynamic inhouse government health law team in delivering comprehensive legal services across Justice Health NSW statewide custodial health service operations. The team supports clinicians and management to provide care in a manner that meets legislative and regulatory requirements in a complex environment. The team manage a substantial coronial law and health law practice, GIPA/Release of Information matters, and a wide variety of matters pertaining to contract, research, governance and legal education.

    1. This position requires someone with a current legal practice certificate and 2 years post admission experience in the area of health law, criminal justice and/or NSW privacy law. Please outline your relevant qualifications and experience in this respect.

    3. Provide an example of a time you demonstrated excellent conceptual and analytical skills to a legal problem and were able to provide practical advice to your client to address that problem.
