Dual Diagnosis Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC2) - PPT 24hpw - Frank Baxter Youth Justice Centre

• Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and holds an unrestricted NSW Driving licence with a willingness to travel within NSW as required.
• Minimum five years full time equivalent postgraduate experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in adolescent mental health and drug & alcohol.
• Approved postgraduate mental health nursing and/or drug and alcohol qualifications.
• Proven ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice by the utilisation of evidence based research.
• Demonstrated skills in clinical teaching, competency in the use of contemporary information systems and experience in the development of specialty education programs.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in client-centred consultancy with the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated knowledge of adolescent development and clinical expertise in managing mental health and drug and alcohol health issues in adolescents.
• Demonstrated effective communication and inter-personal skills across a variety of mediums and an understanding of the practice development framework.
