Communications Officer (HM2) - TFT up to 5 March 2021

1. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, underpinned by strategic and creative thinking; and experience in providing excellent customer-focused communications advice and guidance
2. Competent in the management of a variety of social media platforms, including monitoring and other related tools; and high level understanding of the operations of contemporary news media and ability to provide effective monitoring and reporting of relevant coverage.
3. Proven high level skills in maintaining content for websites and intranets, including experience in the use of a variety of content management and analysis systems and tools.
4. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, including sound abilities in negotiation and motivation, advanced skills in collaboration and influence; and in working as part of a team
5. Proven hands-on experience in events, including a demonstrated attention to detail.
6. Demonstrated excellent skills in the strategic planning, development and execution of communications plans, including providing creative, solutions-focused thinking to challenges and an innovative approach.
7. Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, or journalism, or equivalent relevant experience.
8. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a workload with competing deadlines; excellent time management and organisational skills
