- Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- At least five years fulltime equivalent post registration experience and significant clinical experience in parenting and antenatal care and a post registration qualification in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary adolescent health issues.
- Demonstrated highly developed communication, time management, negotiation and report writing skills.
- Proven understanding of contemporary antenatal care, parenting and adolescent development particularly in the context of the specific needs of young people in custody.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence (Class 1A or C) and a willingness and ability to travel to rural and metropolitan work sites.
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values of the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network.
