- Must be a person of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander decent – an applicant’s race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14 of the Discrimination Act 1997 NSW.
- Possess a Certificate 3 in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills and understanding of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have experience or knowledge in sexual health and blood borne viruses and be able to identify and implement health promotion activities for Aboriginal patients.
- Possess a current NSW drivers licence and the willingness to travel across NSW (as necessary).
- Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Recent experience working with patients and their families and knowledge of their local cultural-specific communities and its health services.
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values of the Network.
