  1. Must be a person of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander decent – an applicant’s race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14 of the Discrimination Act 1997 NSW.
  2. Possess a Certificate 3 in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
  3. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills and understanding of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
  4. Must have experience or knowledge in sexual health and blood borne viruses and be able to identify and implement health promotion activities for Aboriginal patients.
  5. Possess a current NSW drivers licence and the willingness to travel across NSW (as necessary).
  6. Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Recent experience working with patients and their families and knowledge of their local cultural-specific communities and its health services.
  8. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values of the Network.
