- Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent authorised under section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act (NSW) 1977.
- Has undertaken, or is willing to undertake, a minimum Certificate 3 Aboriginal Primary Health Care (including undergoing recognition of prior learning processes against current qualifications)
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and communities, understanding and expertise with Aboriginal culture and understanding of social and emotional wellbeing issues experienced by Aboriginal people.
- Demonstrated high level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with effectively establishing partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including multi-disciplinary teams, local Aboriginal communities and external organisations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven high level written and verbal communication, including proficient computer literacy.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and service development.
