  1. Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent authorised under section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act (NSW) 1977.
  2. Has undertaken, or is willing to undertake, a minimum Certificate 3 Aboriginal Primary Health Care (including undergoing recognition of prior learning processes against current qualifications)
  3. Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and communities, understanding and expertise with Aboriginal culture and understanding of social and emotional wellbeing issues experienced by Aboriginal people.
  4. Demonstrated high level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Experience with effectively establishing partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including multi-disciplinary teams, local Aboriginal communities and external organisations.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills and proven high level written and verbal communication, including proficient computer literacy.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and service development.
