- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent (An applicant's race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised by section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW)
- Certificate IV in Aboriginal Health Care and experience working within Aboriginal Health Programs
- Demonstrated understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal people in relation to grief and loss and Aboriginal social and emotional well being
- Demonstrated capacity to lead the development of culturally safe environments for Aboriginal patients and their families within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated understanding of advance care planning and palliative care understanding in aboriginal services and the community
- Effective interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and personal resilience
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of information technology systems
- Current NSW Driver's licence and willingness to travel across the Network
