  1. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent (An applicant's race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised by section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW)
  2. Certificate IV in Aboriginal Health Care and experience working within Aboriginal Health Programs
  3. Demonstrated understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal people in relation to grief and loss and Aboriginal social and emotional well being
  4. Demonstrated capacity to lead the development of culturally safe environments for Aboriginal patients and their families within a multidisciplinary team
  5. Demonstrated understanding of advance care planning and palliative care understanding in aboriginal services and the community
  6. Effective interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and personal resilience
  7. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of information technology systems
  8. Current NSW Driver's licence and willingness to travel across the Network
