  1. Must be a person of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander decent - an applicant's race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14 of the Discrimination Act 1997 NSW.
  2. Must possess a Certificate III in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or equivalent qualification.
  3. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills and understanding of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
  4. Must be able to identify and implement health promotion activities within a secure environment for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander patients.
  5. Possess a current NSW drivers licence and the willingness to travel across the Network (as necessary).
  6. Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Recent experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander patients and their families and knowledge of their local cultural-specific communities and its health services.
  8. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values of the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network.
