The Role

We are looking for a qualified health care professional with:

  • Current registration as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • At least one full year of Nursing experience.

The Enrolled Nurse (EN) contributes to planning, implementing and assisting in the evaluation of health issues and in the provision of nursing care for patients.

 

Our Location, Team, and Service

On the banks of the Macquarie River in the Central Tablelands of NSW, the vibrant regional centre of Bathurst is rich with history and gold rush heritage. With Mount Panorama-Whaluu rising in the distance, it’s also the home of Australian motor racing and a hotspot for motorsport enthusiasts.

Bathurst Correctional Centre is a mixed-security facility for male offenders located in the centre of Bathurst, 1 hour from Orange and the Blue Mountains, and 210 kilometres west of Sydney. The complex serves as a reception prison for western NSW.

On-site you’ll find a close-knit clinical team led by a passionate & enthusiastic Nurse Unit Manager that encourages the development of staff. Working within the Primary care team, you’ll enjoy fantastic training & education opportunities all the while working alongside Mental Health, Drug & Alcohol, Population Health, and Aboriginal Chronic Care teams.
