The Role
The Clinical Coordinator position is responsible for coordinating, categorising and monitoring clinical information for the purpose of clinical governance and oversight for the NSW Community Forensic Mental Health Services (CFMHS). The NSW CFMHS consists of three services: The Forensic Consultation and Assessment Team (ForCAT), the Community Transitions Team (CTT) and the Treatment and Rehabilitation Clinic (TRC).
The primary focus of this position will be to support the clinical team in developing clinical systems and pathways for accurate and timely collection of clinical service information to inform clinical decision making, the development of clinical services and enhance the capacity for all three services to engage in system-wide reporting and research activities. Regular review and governance of these pathways will be required as part of the role. The position will work autonomously to support the effective service delivery of the NSW Community Forensic Mental Health Services. The position requires well developed interpersonal, organisational and written communication skills and analytical and problem-solving skills.
Essential Requirements
- Clinical knowledge and experience working with a clinical mental health team
- Knowledge and experience in data analysis and reporting
- Experience in the use of Network data and reporting platforms (PAS, Chime, CARP) or other similar systems
