Wardsperson Supervisor - Wollongong Hospital

Selection Criteria

1. Extensive experience working in a supervisory role.

2. Demonstrated ability to motivate, co-ordinate and supervise staff within a complex environment.

3. Extensive experience in in the use of computer systems, (Microsoft Word, Excel and database applications) and previous experience in rostering and pay systems.

4. Understanding and application of risk management, safety and quality principles.

5. Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to Work Health and Safety issues in particular use of correct manual handling techniques.

6. Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally with members of the public and staff with a courteous and strong responsive customer focused service and an appreciation of confidentiality.

7. Demonstrated high standard of organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and achieve deadlines.

8. Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team setting and commitment to harmonious work relations.
