Selection Criteria:

  1. Previous secretarial and administrative experience, including; a demonstrated understanding of medical terminology.
  2. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills including; the ability to deal with clients/carers in a courteous and confidential manner.
  3. Provide evidence of exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to liaise with a range of health professionals and non-health professionals.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team in a busy environment.
  5. Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft products and mainframe systems (eg. iPM, Electronic Records and Medicare) or similar systems.
  6. Demonstrated ability to set priorities and monitor workload, including the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  7. Demonstrated understanding and adherence to privacy and confidentiality guidelines within the health service.
  8. Current NSW unrestricted NSW drivers licence.
