Nurse Unit Manager Level 2 - Endoscopy - Wollongong Hospital - Permanent Full Time

Selection Criteria: 

1. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse/Midwife (Division 1).
2. Extensive recent post registration clinical experience and knowledge of current nursing/midwifery issues in the required speciality.
3. Proven leadership and management skills and demonstrated ability to lead manage and support a clinical team.
4. Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills necessary for resolving service delivery and workplace issues and mentoring team members in conflict resolution.
5. Evidence of and commitment to patient/customer focussed care, clinical governance and quality improvement.
6. Demonstrated knowledge in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence based practice and practice development.
7. Demonstrated understanding of budget development and monitoring financial performance.
8. Demonstrated experience in written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in relevant information systems including HealthRoster and Office apps.
