Selection Criteria
- Current registration as Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Recent broad acute clinical and operational management experience within a complex health care environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary management team.
- Extensive knowledge of surgical and medical patient management processes, including in-patient flows from emergency and other facilities, and pre and post-acute care.
- A thorough understanding of the NSW Government’s policy framework for health and the impact on patient access with a comprehensive understanding of NSW Health policies, priorities, performance targets and related information management systems.
- Ability to translate ISLHD strategic direction into practical and achievable goals.
- Demonstrated high-level communication and negotiating skills with Senior Executive and Clinical Staff, following NSW Health CORE values.
