Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated qualifications as either: • Registered nurse with a current license to practice from the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Minimum five years full time equivalent post registration experience and in addition who has approved post registration nursing/midwifery qualification relevant to Acute Community Mental Health or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate. • Relevant qualifications as an Occupational Therapist currently registered with AHPRA. • Qualified Social Worker eligible for registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). All Allied Health applicants must demonstrate ability to meet all components of a Level 3 practitioner under the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award, 2019 and have demonstrated application of relevant professional skills in an Acute Mental Health setting.
- Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical practice.
- Demonstrated effective communication and inter-personal skills across a variety of mediums and knowledge of the practice development framework for clinical practice.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic and clinical service
- Demonstrated advanced understanding of contemporary mental health clinical practice. Proven skills in clinical teaching, the identification of education needs in the clinical area, and competency in the use of contemporary information systems.
- Ability to apply clinical expertise in client-centered consultancy with the ability to work independently.
- Current NSW Driver’s License
