D&A Clinician - Whole family Team

1. Qualification as a Psychologist or Allied Health Professional. Must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (if applicable) and/or eligibility for membership of a relevant peak body professional association.
2. Demonstrated clinical expertise in managing alcohol and other drug issues with superior skills/experience in bio-psychosocial assessment and interventions with families with complex needs.
3. A demonstrated understanding of alcohol and other drug issues, and the harm minimisation philosophy.
4. A proven ability to provide a range of interventions, e.g. case management, crisis management, advocacy and education.
5. Demonstrated high level interpersonal and written communication skills, including liaison and networking with other care and service providers and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
7. Demonstrated competence in the use of electronic information systems.
8. Current NSW Drivers Licence, with the ability to travel in accordance with position responsibilities.
