Clinical Psychologist, Child & Family, Port Kembla District Hospital

Selection Criteria:

1. Must hold a Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology.
2. Must be generally registered as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia with areas of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology or eligibility to progress to endorsement.
3. Demonstrated recent and relevant experience working with children and their families providing appropriate psychological assessment, complex case formulation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychopathology.
4. Demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of childhood emotional, behavioural, developmental, and social problems and the ability to provide intervention and advice in the context of complex family relationships.
5. Effective written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy, time management and organisational skills, interpersonal skills, and problem solving abilities.
6. Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
